Procurement Manager

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the acquisition of raw materials. The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining quality and timely delivery of raw materials.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Purchase Requisitions and float RFQ as per plan received from planning team
  • Prepare comparative quote sheets, negotiate best prices and issue PO to L1 as per approval of AVP & VP Procurement
  • Follow Procurement SOP
  • Ensure timely delivery of material (OTIF), diligence in follow-ups with suppliers, ensure timely payments, vendor reconciliations etc.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on their quality, cost, and delivery capabilities. The successful candidate will also build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.

To be considered for this role, you should have a Master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. A professional certification in procurement (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is preferred. You should also have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on raw materials.
