Job Title: Expert Instrumentation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled instrumentation professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of detailed design documents, including design basis, instrumentation and control systems, specifications, and functional loop schematics.
  • Creation of installation drawings, hookups, instrument location layouts, cable tray layouts, control room layouts, cable and junction box schedules, wiring and interconnection drawings, loop wiring diagrams, MTO, construction/erection tenders, and CAPEX support documents.
  • Review and update of P&ID, 3D model reviews, IDR/IDC, cable tray layouts, equipment layouts, and instrumentation layout.
  • Hands-on experience in design calculations, including instrument sizing, control valve sizing, flow meter sizing, safety valve sizing, air and power consumption calculations, thermowell wake frequency calculations, UPS sizing, transformer sizing, cable tray sizing, and cable sizing.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG plants and NEC standards.
  • Knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specifications.
  • Instrument selection - all types of field instruments, exposure to selection of instruments and systems for hazardous areas.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in preparation of design deliverables.
  • Hands-on experience in design calculations.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
