As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust data pipelines using Python and frameworks like Tornado and FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, utilizing Agile methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure version control using Git/Bitbucket.
  • Work with RDBMS models in cloud environments for data storage and retrieval, leveraging strong knowledge of database systems.
  • Build and deploy applications using Python, incorporating hands-on experience with Tornado and FastAPI frameworks.
  • Implement RESTful APIs, including token-based authentication and compression techniques, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of backend application development experience with Python.
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS and cloud database models.
  • Hands-on experience with Python Tornado and FastAPI frameworks.
  • In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs, token authentication, and compression techniques.
  • Experience with version control and issue tracking tools: Bitbucket, Git CLI, Jira.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
