Job Overview:

  • The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Transaction Monitoring Analyst will play a crucial role in reviewing assigned alerts and documenting findings using the AML alert management system.
  • Manual referrals generated by various bank areas will also be reviewed to identify potential suspicious activity.
  • Analysts will conduct in-depth reviews of Low, Medium, and High Risk accounts to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Enhanced due diligence research on individuals, institutions, and trusts will be conducted through LexisNexis and other online tools.
  • Interactions with bank management will occur to discuss suspicious transactions involving customers.
  • Loan accounts, Remote Deposit Capture, Wire Transfers, and Monetary Instrument reports will be prepared and reviewed to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Transaction records, customer information, external data, and publicly available information will be used to identify suspicious or unusual activity.
  • Detailed analyses will be performed to detect patterns, trends, anomalies, and schemes in transactions and relationships across multiple businesses/products.
  • Maintaining strong investigative skills and working independently are essential for this role.
  • Identifying significant cases, red flags, and patterns associated with illicit fund laundering is critical.
