Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Data Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions on cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will lead the development of enterprise-grade data architectures that support analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives while ensuring security, performance, and cost optimization.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in implementing data solutions and migrations. They will provide technical guidance on cloud data services selection and optimization, collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and drive adoption of cloud-native data technologies and modern data practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive data architectures using cloud services
  • Develop data models, schemas, and integration patterns for structured and unstructured data
  • Create solution blueprints, technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and best practice guidelines
  • Implement data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with security standards
  • Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for data systems

Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 9+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud data services
  • Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics platforms

  • Data modeling and ETL/ELT processes
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

This is a full-time role based in Hyderabad, India, with a hybrid work mode.
