Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud product team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable and fault-tolerant architectures on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate application requirements into cloud architecture and infrastructure.
  • Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures.
  • Select appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements.
  • Migrate on-premises workloads to cloud service providers.
  • Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, JSON, YAML, or Terraform.
  • Troubleshoot distributed systems.
  • Deliver and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with public clouds, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with containerized environments, such as EKS, AKS, and GKE.
  • Hands-on knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
  • Advanced level hands-on knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, Route 53/DNS, Clustering (EKS and ECS), Log Management, and IAM.
  • Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Azure Compute Instances, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, VNet, Subnets, NSG/ASG, IAM, Azure RBAC, SSL, Traffic Manager, Azure DNS, and Load Balancers.
  • Advanced hands-on knowledge of GCP Compute, Cloud Storage, GCP IAM, SSL Certs.
  • Strong notions of security best practices.
  • Experience with configuration management tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet/Chef.
  • Unix/Linux, Windows basic administration.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Service Now, Incident Management, Change Management, and other ITIL processes.
