Job Description:

As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of cloud-based solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing cloud security services based on pre-defined architecture frameworks
  • Maintaining and improving the security posture of cloud platforms
  • Overseeing vulnerability identification and remediation processes
  • Defining security controls and policies, access to data, and monitoring alerts to ensure that data, apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks are protected
  • Designing access configurations within a cloud solution environment using the defense-in-depth principle
  • Designing network security including hybrid context with traditional network-centric controls
  • Implementing and utilizing cloud-native tools like Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls
  • Familiarity with cloud security platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Good understanding of security concepts (Zero Trust Network, CASB, Cloud Computing, SIEM, SOAR, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM, and PAM)
  • Experience with other Cloud Platforms like AWS and Google Cloud is beneficial
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, .Net
