Executive Audit Leader

As a seasoned audit leader, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale audit projects across multiple verticals and timelines. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, as well as the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

This is a challenging position that demands a strong sense of independence, with the ability to run complex audit engagements from start to finish without requiring extensive supervision.

The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of experience in statutory audits, preferably within an audit firm, and hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.

  • Audit Project Leadership: Lead statutory audits independently, encompassing planning through final reporting, including management discussions.
  • Team Management: Manage multiple teams and team leads, ensuring effective staffing, training, and performance reviews.
  • Compliance and Technical Accuracy: Ensure alignment with auditing standards (SA 200 series onwards) and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with tax, finance, and legal teams to identify control gaps and compliance issues.
  • Client Relationship Management: Own client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for escalations, walkthroughs, and closure.
  • Risk-Based Auditing: Apply risk assessment methodology to focus audit efforts on high-impact areas.

The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in auditing standards, financial statement preparation, and review, as well as possessing strong legal acumen and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
