Job Description:

Maintain machinery and equipment in nutraceutical manufacturing facilities to ensure accurate and efficient production.

Operate and monitor machinery according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct routine checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Record machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs accurately. Maintain product quality standards during machine operations in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines as required
  • Conduct equipment checks to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Report and escalate equipment malfunctions or breakdowns promptly
  • Support preventive maintenance activities and coordinate with the engineering team as needed

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in machinery rectification/maintenance within Nutraceuticals, Food Manufacturing, or Pharmaceuticals
  • Hands-on experience with blending, granulation, encapsulation, filling, or packaging machines is essential
  • Exposure to food technology processes (mixing, drying,) is a plus

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices
  • Familiarity with GMP, GHP, HACCP, and regulatory guidelines (FSSAI/ISO)
  • Ability to conduct and document in-process checks accurately
  • Attention to detail, ownership, and adherence to SOPs
