Job Title: Abinitio Developer

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Abinitio Developer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust ETL solutions using Ab Initio. This will involve working on end-to-end implementation of data warehousing projects, including business requirements gathering, analysis, system study, technical specifications, coding, testing, code migration, implementation, system maintenance, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ETL solutions using Ab Initio (GDE, EME, CoOp, ExpressIt, Continuous Flows, etc.)
  • Implement robust data integration and transformation processes
  • Develop SQL queries and functionality with various databases like Oracle
  • Collaborate with upstream/downstream functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, data quality, and functional issues
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends in development
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to understand data requirements and ensure the successful delivery of solutions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Ab Initio and related activities
  • Strong knowledge of Ab Initio technology and its applications
  • Proficiency in developing SQL queries and functionality with various databases
  • Familiarity with Data warehousing and ETL concepts and techniques
  • Expertise in UNIX shell scripting and scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
