Data Architect - ETL/ELT Pipeline Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 4-7 years of experience to design, build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in working across scrum teams to develop data solutions, ensuring data governance with Unity Catalog, and supporting real-time and batch processing.

  • Collaborate with different scrum teams to develop all quality database programming requirements for the sprint.
  • Create and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks by leveraging PySpark and SQL.
  • Design and implement Delta Lake tables with ACID transactions and schema evolution to support real-time and batch processing.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Azure cloud platforms like Advanced Python Programming, Databricks, Azure SQL, Data factory (ADF), Data Lake, Data storage, SSIS.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 4-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Self-driven with minimal supervision.
  • Proven expertise in T-SQL programming, Azure Databricks, Spark (PySpark/Scala), Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, ADLS Gen2.
