About the Job:

As a key member of our high-performing team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial records. You will handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. Additionally, you will prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, and monthly financial dashboards. Your expertise will also be utilized in supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations: Manage accounting, bookkeeping, and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking to maintain financial discipline.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, and monthly financial dashboards to support business decisions.
  • Support and Compliance: Assist in audits, financial documentation, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with business teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Control and Efficiency: Implement internal financial controls to drive efficiency and reduce risks.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce (BCom/MCom) or professional qualification (ICWA).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounts, or related roles.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance. Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, financial models). Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Nice to Have: Knowledge of startup/venture finance. Exposure to investor reporting and fundraising processes. Experience in automation tools for finance operations.
