Backend Developer with Product Focus

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to work closely with product managers and engineers to build scalable and efficient backend components.

The ideal candidate is passionate about coding and has a strong understanding of software development principles, comfortable reading and interpreting API documentation, and hands-on experience with Spring or similar frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, efficient code and build scalable backend components
  • Read and understand external API documentation to help build new integrations
  • Debug production issues by analyzing logs and participating in on-call rotations
  • Test and validate APIs using Postman or similar tools
  • Participate in on-call debugging sessions with customers to resolve real-time issues
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into technical tasks
  • Take part in technical analysis, design discussions, and roadmap planning
  • Build and maintain robust APIs to support integrations
  • Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD practices

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of backend development experience in Java
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of product thinking or interest in pursuing product management in the future
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, log analyzers, and version control systems (Git)
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work cross-functionally
