Job Purpose

We are seeking a forward-thinking and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead our organization's human capital efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, providing insightful reports on key areas including Employment Law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on effective employment policies across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by leading, supporting and developing HR staff, promoting knowledge sharing and professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and legislation, including data protection, the Equality Act and health and safety.
  • Leverage HR systems to drive efficiency and improve employee engagement, while maintaining focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Cultivate a collaborative work environment, empowering line managers to effectively manage their teams and develop leadership capabilities.
  • Promote organizational growth through transformative initiatives, leveraging company values and approach.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive plan for diversity, equity, and inclusion, aligning with business strategy and commitments.
  • Offer coaching, mentoring, and support to colleagues to enhance individual strengths, development needs, and retention.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Masters degree in HR or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in HR role
