Java Backend Developer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Java/Sr. Java Backend Developer to join our team in developing high-quality, scalable software applications.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of professional experience.
  • Experience with Java(17/21)/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring Boot Framework, MVC, and WebFlux, Spring Security, and similar tech stacks is essential.
  • Proficiency in messaging frameworks such as Kafka is required.
  • Unit testing using frameworks like Junit, Mockito, and JBehave is necessary.
  • Ability to build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc. as part of the CI/CD process is required.
  • Experience working with relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop elegant and high-performing code.
  • Ensure quality practices by performing unit testing, code reviews, and leading tests.
  • Optimize applications for non-functional requirements.
  • Build and deploy components as part of the CI/CD process.
  • Responsible for end-to-end application delivery, including coordination with teams for production deployment.
  • Continuously monitor application health and key performance indicators (KPIs), support triage of production issues as needed.
  • Collaborate in troubleshooting complex data, feature, service, and platform issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve product and operational issues proactively.
  • Advocate for security best practices, champion, and support the importance of security within engineering.
