About the Opportunity:

The senior software engineer will play a key role in developing and scaling modern financial data platforms.

This position focuses on data engineering, working with snowflake and dbt to integrate financial systems, provide trusted insights, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

As a senior software engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines that power critical financial systems, reporting, and compliance needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving business problems through technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Snowflake Data Engineering: Develop and optimize data warehouse solutions in snowflake to meet finance and accounting workloads requirements.
  • dbt Development: Build and maintain dbt models and transformations that enable clean, governed, and auditable financial data flows.
  • Financial Systems Integration: Implement data pipelines that source from ERP and finance systems to support revenue recognition, reconciliations, and accounting processes.
  • ETL/ELT Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and workflows using snowflake, dbt, and other tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in data engineering or data platform roles, preferably with financial systems expertise.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with snowflake for data warehousing, performance tuning, and secure data sharing.
  • 2+ years of dbt experience (building models, transformations, testing, and documentation).
