This role involves developing high-quality software by embracing best practices and principles. The successful candidate will create holistic designs using a Test-Driven Development approach to ensure reusability and extensibility of capabilities in future versions.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing software with a focus on quality, reusability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify project scope, estimate timelines, and develop approaches and designs for features and epics.
  • Developing and implementing architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of products.
  • Working in a SAFe Agile model with other developers, BAs, Architects to ensure end business and performance goals are met.

Key qualifications include:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java/.Net/Oracle/SQL and web services software architecture and design (REST/SOAP).
  • Exposure to cloud applications including DevOps, Deployment, Jenkins, Jira.
  • Experience in RESTFul Webservices & API framework, OAS3 APIs.

Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience with Agile Development practices and processes.
  • Preferred experience in developing packaged software (Products) preferably in the banking, insurance, or financial services areas.
