Job Description

Mizuho Global Services is a subsidiary company of one of the largest banks in Japan.

This role is critical to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data by defending against network-based threats and vulnerabilities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in network security engineering or architecture

We are looking for someone with expertise in configuring and managing enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, SNMP).

Required Skills and Qualifications

We require:

  • Proficiency in configuring and managing enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA)
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, SNMP)
  • Experience with IDS/IPS tools (e.g., Snort, Suricata, Cisco Firepower)

Also required are knowledge of cloud networking and security controls (AWS, Azure, GCP), experience with packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump), and scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and security tasks.
