Job Description

Honeywell is seeking a skilled professional to manage and update the Aero lab across various sites. This role involves handling multiple test solutions and equipment, ensuring they are up-to-date with calibration and certification requirements.

The Electronic Test team is responsible for electronic test activities on avionics engineering programs. The successful candidate will work closely with teams across Aero to update and review electrical and mechanical needs for different test setups as per product specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize lab instruments and tools like DMM, Analyzers, and have strong experience with Cable harness fabrication (crimping & Soldering) as per standards.
  • Detailed knowledge of power types used across labs (AC & DC).
  • Plan lab layout for different test benches and explore opportunities for lab space optimization.
  • Electrical and Mechanical requirement planning for different labs across various sites and support deployment of test benches in labs.
  • Cable fab, Soldering, Lab Equipment Handling, ESD in lab and good understanding of IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Electrical & mechanical integration knowledge.
  • Proactive connection with users and collaboration with product teams to understand overall test solution needs.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of industry experience in lab management with hands-on experience in equipment calibration, testing, and maintenance.
  • Diploma or equivalent degree in Electrical engineering.
  • Hands-on experience dealing with different teams across organizations for coordination of lab upgrade and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of different kinds of cable harness and connectors (DSUB,Circular).
  • Good understanding of lab equipment, their functions, and input requirements.
  • Go-getter attitude and ability to maneuver in complex, abstract, and dynamic business scenarios.
  • Understanding of AC and DC power supply systems.
