Job Title: Cyber Asset Management Specialist

About the Role:

The Cyber Asset Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting our organization's cyber security team by overseeing the lifecycle of our cyber technology assets across global regions. This involves cataloging, monitoring, and managing the lifecycle of these assets to ensure they remain secure and compliant with organizational standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Catalogue and maintain an accurate inventory of all cyber technology assets, including details such as model, serial number, support lifecycle, end-of-life status, and vulnerabilities.
  2. Partner with regional cyber security teams to track vendor product management cycles and liaise with cyber system vendors and local teams to gather and validate asset information.
  3. Collaborate with regional teams to support cyber action plans, ensuring timely remediation or replacement of vulnerable or end-of-life assets.
  4. Act as the primary liaison with the wider Technology function to improve governance, reporting, and lifecycle management of our firm's cyber assets.
  5. Coordinate and oversee the replacement of key end-of-life assets, engaging regional cyber security representatives and local area owners.
  6. Contribute to the development of asset lifecycle strategies and reporting dashboards to support management decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across teams, geographies, and time zones.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the asset management lifecycle, ideally gained in a corporate security department.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling, and executing projects involving cyber system acquisition, maintenance, and replacement.
  • Hands-on experience with Service Now or similar workflow/asset management systems, including issue tracking and dashboard/report creation.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Prior experience in cyber systems lifecycle management or technology asset management.
  • Exposure to corporate security environments and vendor management processes.
  • Experience working in global organizations with cross-regional collaboration.
