Software Quality Manager

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall quality of software products.
- The Quality Assurance Lead oversees the quality assurance process during software development, ensuring that products meet the required standards.
- This involves creating and implementing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, monitoring metrics, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals.
Key responsibilities include determining the scope of testing for each release, establishing key metrics to assess quality, leading a team of testers, and providing thought leadership for automation initiatives.
Required skills and qualifications include at least 5 years of experience in software testing and QA leadership, strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools, and proficiency with automation and testing tools such as Selenium and TestRail.
Additional qualifications include experience using test management and bug-tracking tools, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git and Jenkins, and strong analytical skills for identifying defects and tracking metrics.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are also essential for success in this role, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team and collaborate across functions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, and certifications such as ISTQB/ISEB or CSQA/CSQE are a plus.
