Job Title: Expert Data Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Data Architect to lead our data modeling efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data models within SAP HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Data Modeling: Develop and implement robust data models that support business processes and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and build reports and dashboards in Power BI, leveraging underlying data models and CDS views.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Data Optimization: Ensure data consistency, integrity, and availability by optimizing data structures and processes.
  • Integration and Troubleshooting: Support integration of data across multiple systems and platforms, and participate in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to data models.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced Data Modeling Expertise: 8+ years of experience in data modeling with expertise in SAP HANA, including schema design, entity relationship modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Power BI Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Power BI for reporting, visualization, and building interactive dashboards.
  • Business Acumen: Proven understanding of business operations and ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with SAP data structures, CDS views, Fiori analytical apps, ETL processes, SQL, and system integrations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues.
