Pastry Chef

The ideal candidate for this role will be an integral part of a dynamic team, supporting the head pastry chef in creating and presenting a variety of pastries and baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Baking Ingredients: Prepare baking ingredients according to traditional and modern recipes.
  • Recipe Monitoring: Follow and adjust recipes as needed to ensure high-quality products.
  • Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain kitchen cleanliness and orderliness, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Product Decoration: Assist in the decoration and presentation of finished products, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
  • Workplace Safety: Ensure the workspace meets all necessary safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Pasty Baking Skills: Possess skills in pastry baking, cake decoration, and dessert making.
  • Recipe Knowledge: Have experience following and adjusting recipes.
  • Kitchen Safety: Familiarity with kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from the head pastry chef.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Certification: Relevant certification or diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is beneficial.
