Job Summary:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in chemical and polymer science, with experience working in laboratory settings. Key responsibilities include collaborating with project leads to identify testing requirements and developing strategies to meet those needs.

  • Designing and conducting chemical and mechanical tests as per project specifications, recording observations and data, and analyzing results to inform testing protocols.
  • Maintaining experimental facilities in the Polymer Lab, identifying and addressing equipment issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participating in inventory management of spares and consumables, ensuring that necessary resources are available for testing activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical/Polymer related technical disciplines.
  • Experience working in research and lab environments, with exposure to chemical and mechanical testing and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel to collect, plot, and analyze results, as well as maintain accurate records.
