Job Description:

As a Solar Projects Manager, you will lead a team of engineers in the creation and implementation of solar power plants. Your role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle from conceptualization to execution, ensuring that projects meet technical specifications and are cost-effective.

  • Project Management: Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of design plans and construction documents.
  • Design and Compliance: Develop and review design plans, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements, present design solutions and progress updates to stakeholders.

You will be responsible for staying updated with the latest innovations and technology trends in solar PV design, conducting feasibility studies and technical analysis, implementing best practices and industry advancements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, minimum 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management of single plants of 100 MWp and higher.

  • Design Efficiency: Achieve a reduction in overall design cost by optimizing resource allocation and minimizing material wastage, ensure 90% of project designs are completed within the scheduled timeline.
  • Project Delivery: Attain client satisfaction scores of 85% or higher in design reviews, deliver 95% of projects without major design-related overruns or changes.
  • Team Development: Conduct quarterly training sessions to enhance team skills, develop a career progression plan for team members with 90% adherence.
  • Compliance and Quality: Maintain a 98% compliance rate with statutory and regulatory requirements, achieve a 95% pass rate in design audits and quality checks.
