Junior Software Test Engineer

Seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Software Test Engineer to ensure high-quality software delivery.

  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to guarantee functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for efficient testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla for seamless issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test cases ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing to ensure software stability.
  • Prepare detailed test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports for transparency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in the QA process and automation framework for enhanced efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least one year of experience in manual testing and automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver preferably in Java or Python.
  • Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG / JUnit for robust testing.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle for effective project management.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA for smooth defect resolution.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing is beneficial.
  • Good communication and analytical skills for effective collaboration.
