Visual Identity Specialist

As a Visual Identity Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the visual strategy for our brand. This includes developing the visual identity across all touchpoints, including web, print, social media, events, video, and emerging formats.

You will own the creation of our visual language, ensuring it is consistent and aligned with our overall brand strategy. You will also oversee the design team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure that our visuals are of the highest quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams in media, digital publishing, or agency environments. They will be proficient in Adobe CC (Ps, Ai, Id, Ae), Figma, and Gen-AI image/video tools for ideation or production.

Responsibilities include defining and evolving the visual language for all properties, harnessing creative AI to integrate Gen-AI tools into concepting, style-frames, motion pre-viz, and rapid prototyping. Additionally, you will elevate video & motion by partnering with our video team to craft cinematic title cards, lower thirds, and data-driven infographics, and guide AI-assisted video editing and VFX workflows.

Mentorship and collaboration will be key responsibilities, as you will coach graphic designers, motion artists, and freelancers, and work hand-in-hand with Editorial, Marketing, Events, and Product to ensure every touchpoint feels unmistakably us.

Finally, you will set the benchmark for gold-standard visuals, strategic thinking, and on-time delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC (Ps, Ai, Id, Ae) and Figma
  • Knowledge of Gen-AI image/video tools for ideation or production
  • Ability to define and evolve visual language for all properties
  • Strong understanding of video & motion production
