Are you passionate about designing the perfect hood for automotive excellence?

We're seeking a skilled BIW Bonnet Design Lead to drive innovation in vehicle architecture. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to develop and refine 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for hood outer panels, inner reinforcements, hinges, latches, and strikers.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Hood/Bonnet Design & Development at Automobile OEM with around 4 to 8 years of experience.

  • Develop and refine 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for hood outer panels, inner reinforcements, hinges, latches, and strikers
  • Ensure compliance with pedestrian protection regulations and front crash safety standards
  • Collaborate with teams in BIW, sealing, latching, thermal management, and styling to ensure proper integration
  • Strong knowledge of tooling feasibility, material selection (steel, aluminum, composites), and manufacturing processes
  • Candidate should be experienced in Catia and PLM software's like Team center
  • Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc.
  • Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing and assembly -process
  • Should be able to prepare & deliver presentations of the concepts/master section
  • Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T added advantage
  • Hand on experience in Part development/supplier interaction added advantage

Required Qualifications:

  • B.E (Mechanical / Automobile) with 3-10 Years of experience.

• Strong knowledge of sheet metal, GD&T, packaging, and tooling constraints


• Proficiency in CAD tools (Catia V5/V6, NX, etc.)


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
