Job Overview :

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Specialist with extensive experience in developing robust automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

The ideal candidate will have strong backend validation skills using SQL, ability to automate API testing using Postman or equivalent tools, and working knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop comprehensive automated test cases for complex web applications using Selenium with Java.
  • Implement reusable functions across test suites to handle dynamic elements, synchronization issues, and explicit waits.
  • Write medium to complex SQL queries to validate data directly from relational databases as part of test execution.
  • Debug and analyze data discrepancies to ensure accurate results.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to contribute to automation frameworks, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and QA deliverables tracking.
  • Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Test Reporting Tools like ExtentReports, Allure to integrate automation suites and generate readable reports.

Key Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience in QA Automation Engineering.
  • Proficient in Selenium WebDriver with Java, SQL, Postman, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, Gradle, Git, and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser testing using Selenium or equivalent tools.
  • Experience in Agile-Scrum methodologies and JIRA for test case documentation, defect logging, and issue tracking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
