About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Studio Director to lead the launch of our global firm's flagship Indian studio. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented architect to shape the studio culture, strategy, and growth from inception.

As a Studio Director, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing business opportunities, leading project teams, and contributing to the company's visibility and reputation through thought leadership and design excellence. You will work closely with our international leadership team to develop and implement a business plan for the Indian market and report on progress to the board.

This is a senior leadership role that requires strong portfolio management skills, excellent client relationship building, business development, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in architecture, with at least a decade in studio/office leadership roles. A strong background in commercial projects, particularly Data Centers, Retail, and Hospitality, is essential.

You will be responsible for inspiring and promoting our company culture across the office, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, leading project teams, and taking oversight and responsibility for architectural projects at all work stages. You will also contribute to the company's growth by delivering high-quality projects and developing a sustainable track record of securing new clients and opportunities.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in Architecture (and the built environment)
  • Post Graduate qualification or Masters in Architecture (and the built environment)
  • Indian registered architect with relevant certifications
