Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to achieve overall business targets in terms of volume and profitability for specific customers within the Infrastructure Finance Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To identify potential clients and scope their needs for asset growth, with a focus on budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Ensure year-over-year (YoY) asset growth aligns with vertical targets, and manage client accounts to meet desired asset growth plans.
  • Increase asset product mix by acquiring new customers and managing existing relationships to drive portfolio growth.
  • Monitor and review portfolio performance using tools like ALM, Tableau, and Business MIS to inform strategic decisions.
Core Income Generation

Key objectives include:

  • Planning income targets at the start of each financial year and ensuring YoY income growth aligns with vertical targets.
  • Monitoring portfolio performance to meet monthly revenue plans, tracking variance with budgets, and formulating plans to meet income targets.
  • Maximizing revenue through offering the right mix of products and services to customers, and driving fee and other income growth.
Liability Management

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring liability growth aligns with asset growth to meet self-funding plans, and being the face of the bank for all products and services that customers need.
  • Engaging with bank branch channels to deliver products and services, and promoting key objectives set by senior management.
Key Objectives and Qualitative Goals

Key objectives include:

  • Placing a strong emphasis on relationship building with internal and external customers, and ensuring required client calls are tracked on CRM.
  • Preparing credit approvals, disbursements, and ensuring defined turnaround times (TATs).
  • Mentoring and managing subordinates to achieve targets, and guiding them through active hand-holding.
Housekeeping and Risk Management

Key responsibilities include:

  • Keeping track of housekeeping for a healthy portfolio, and ensuring proper levels of PDD, deferrals, and ORM deferrals.
  • Managing stress and critical accounts, timely exits, and resolving non-performing assets (NPAs) or write-off cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong communication skills, excellent knowledge of banking products, and EMI loans.
  • Sound business acumen, high financial management capability, and good selling skills for B2B and B2C clients.
  • Effective time management, highly motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate about success.
Experience Required

A minimum of 2 years as a Relationship Manager, preferably with experience in banking and commercial/capital equipment markets.
