Integration Leadership Role

Lead cross-functional teams to drive middleware-based API and system integrations, ensuring seamless integration with external systems and services.

This is a critical leadership role that requires driving successful integration delivery with APIs, message queues, and file-based systems, facilitating efficient communication among stakeholders.

  • Manage integration projects across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and secure rollouts, adherence to project scope, milestones, and success metrics for middleware/API integrations.
  • Define project scope, milestones, and success metrics for middleware-API integrations, collaborating with developers and business teams to coordinate middleware service requirements.
  • Track and manage integration workstreams: real-time APIs, batch jobs, Kafka-RabbitMQ, SFTP, validating data contracts, mapping, and transformation rules to ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with API security, data privacy, and operational risk standards, documenting integration touchpoints, workflows, and SLAs, providing visibility on risks, blockers, and delivery status to senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 8–10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in project/program management of API & middleware integrations, including experience in the wealth management / WealthTech domain.
  • Strong understanding of system integration techniques (APIs, message queues, SFTP), familiarity with API management tools (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway), exposure to Node.js-based architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of financial data formats (FIX, OFX, JSON, XML), strong stakeholder management, communication, and delivery skills.
