Manufacturing Process Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to oversee the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, training workers in the safe use of machinery, and identifying areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to diagnose issues quickly, and provide effective recommendations for resolution. Additionally, they will have strong leadership abilities, superb written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise manufacturing processes to ensure quality work is done safely and efficiently.
  • Liaise with other engineers to develop plans that improve production costs and labor requirements.
  • Diagnose problems in the production line and provide recommendations and training.
  • Establish safety procedures and protocols that prioritize worker well-being.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in engineering and production, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Identify, document, and report unsafe practices.
  • Develop production schedules for projects.
  • Analyze all aspects of production and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Production Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with CAD software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Proven experience in the engineering field.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
