Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal part in the implementation of cloud architectures. The ideal candidate will have experience with Docker, Linux systems management, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing advanced cloud architectures using AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Spearheading the continuous evolution of the client's infrastructure as code approach.
  • Ensuring high levels of automation throughout the lifecycle of all workloads.
  • Identifying and eliminating single points of failure in the infrastructure.
  • Improving efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances.
  • Bridging the gap between Security and DevOps teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience with containerization (Docker).
  • Knowledge of Linux systems management.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket, or Stash.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar).
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, PHP).
  • Experience with application and system monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), caching systems (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache), and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ).
  • Experience working as a Cloud Engineer in an agile environment.
  • Experience with AWS.
