Job Title: ETL Tester

We are seeking an experienced data engineer to take on the challenge of ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our ETL processes.

This role requires a strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data governance, data warehousing, and datalakes.

The successful candidate will have experience working with large datasets, analytical skills, and a good understanding of Structured and Unstructured file formats.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand the requirement from HLD/LLD docs
  2. Set up ETL Jobs in regression effort and flow execution in Autosys and Mainframe
  3. Analyze and assign tasks to team members on a daily basis
  4. Test case preparation with the help of Test Plan and reviewing with Dev team
  5. Create effective SQL scripts to validate the Change Data Capture logic in Teradata

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure Cloud platform
  • Python
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of SQL language
  • Azure Synapse Workspace, such as Pipelines and Spark Notebooks, Pysparks
  • Functional/Regression Testing experience
  • Test Automation experience
  • Kafka
  • Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral):
  • Prior ETL testing experience
