Network Infrastructure Professional

Maintain and improve secure, high-performance network systems. This role involves troubleshooting issues, configuring devices, and implementing security policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Network Maintenance: Monitor and maintain network systems for optimal performance and availability.
  • Issue Resolution: Quickly respond to and resolve network-related incidents.
  • Configuration Management: Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Security Enforcement: Implement and maintain network security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and threats.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to support infrastructure operations.
  • Upgrades & Updates: Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware updates, and patches.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize network monitoring tools to identify issues and generate performance reports.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure network operations comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Cloud Networking: Experience with cloud networking solutions and software-defined networking technologies.
  • Firewall Management: Hands-on experience with firewall management and security policy implementation.
  • Load Balancing: Proficiency in managing load balancers for high availability and traffic distribution.
  • Routing & Switching: Strong understanding of routing and switching technologies.
  • Networking Protocols: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and other networking protocols.
  • Network Security: Understanding of network security principles, threat mitigation, and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex network issues.
