Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead our network infrastructure team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our global network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Development: Develop strategic direction in network design, configuration, administration, maintenance, reliability, capacity planning, and support.
  • Network Design: Deploy robust networking environments by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards for a global enterprise environment.
  • MPLS/VPN/Telco/Integrations: Implement MPLS, VPN, Telco, and Integrations technologies to ensure seamless connectivity and high-speed data transfer.
  • Build Reusable Designs: Build reusable designs and systems that promote scale, reliability, security, and efficiency.
  • Manage Multi-Vendor Networks: Manage multi-vendor and multi-protocol networks to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Maximize Network Performance: Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; schedule upgrades; collaborate with network architects on network optimization.
  • Disaster Recovery: Ensure that network design and implementation meets disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5 + years' experience and expert level enterprise data center networking hardware (switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.) (Palo Alto a plus).
  • Cloud Hosting: Experience with Cloud Hosting Technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure & RackSpace.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with server and storage infrastructure and how they integrate with the network.
