We are seeking a Senior Pricing Strategist to join our Commercial Excellence team at International Flavors & Fragrances.
As a Senior Pricing Strategist, you will play a key role in driving cross-functional strategic initiatives, reinforcing pricing excellence strategies, analytics, and best practices. You will be responsible for overseeing all pricing-related activities and queries for one or more designated Business Segments within the Functional Ingredient Business Unit.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives and develop and maintain pricing models and tools to facilitate effective pricing decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pricing analytics, excellent analytical skills, and exceptional problem-solving capabilities. You will also have proficiency in MS Office, experience with commercial systems such as PowerBI, CPQ, and advanced data analytics tools like Tableau, SQL, and Python.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the organization's bold pricing and profitability ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all pricing-related inquiries within assigned Business Segment(s).
- Own the end-to-end process of pricing analysis, from data collection to strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to facilitate effective pricing decisions.
- Monitor and update pricing to reflect changes in the market or company strategy.
- Provide recommendations to management on pricing actions based on analysis and insights.
- Ensure compliance with pricing execution, pricing operations, policies, and guidelines.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in pricing analytics or a related role, background in the food ingredients industry is preferred.
- A highly motivated individual with strong intellectual curiosity, exceptional analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, along with experience with commercial systems such as PowerBI, CPQ etc.
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools like Tableau, SQL, and Python is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to work autonomously, build relationships, and collaborate effectively across diverse geographies and cultures in a matrixed organization.
Estimated Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
