Ambitious Finance Professional
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious finance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting and financial principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with vendors regarding payments, refunds, and reconciliations.
- Update supplier reconciliation portals.
- Collaborate with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals.
- Prepare weekly AP reports, process vendor payments, and allocate in books.
- Review vendor reconciliations performed by AA.
- Chase W9 from vendors and prepare 1099 workings.
- Reconcile tax returns.
- Review sales entries on a weekly basis.
- Review sales tax and prompt tax working files, and prepare use tax calculations.
- Prepare CRT/TPT/8027 and other county tax returns.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Respond to emails within 48 hours.
- Deliver AP reports to clients on time.
- Meet internal month-end closing deadlines (financials).
- Train new team members and assist them in settling.
- Adhere to internal processes and systems.
- Learns new processes and works on assigned roles.
- Attends internal training sessions for personal/business growth.
- Mentors and trains Associates in day-to-day operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Team player with interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under stringent deadlines.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
