Job Title: Technology Strategy Leader

The Technology Strategy Leader will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and applications.

  • Responsible for authorizing and overseeing hardware and software deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support based on IT strategy.
  • Evaluate business needs, objectives, and goals to research necessary IT applications.
  • Analyze complex IT business needs presented by users and customers to recommend technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Design, configure, and optimize hardware, operating systems, network, storage, and backup devices for reliability, availability, and performance in a physical or virtual environment. Manage Active Directory and Citrix.

IT Operations: Configure and supervise the implementation of management tools, including monitoring, security, backup tools. Implement network solutions, including firewall configuration, routing, IPsec tunnels, remote access VPN access.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to application delivery via Citrix and AWS.

People Management: Coach and direct IT staff in operational activities to ensure compliance with company needs and approved budget. Manage IT staff, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.

Industry Awareness: Maintain awareness of changing IT trends, best practices, and regulations that might impact operational efficiency and business continuity.

Requirements:

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco) are preferred.

Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

Tools and Technologies: Experience with cloud-based services (AWS), virtualization platforms (Citrix), and network devices (firewalls, routers).
