Job Title: UI Tester

This is a high-profile position that entails the testing of user interfaces to ensure they meet design specifications and are intuitive to use.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute manual and automated tests to verify user interface functionality across web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.
  • Validate design specifications by ensuring UI elements adhere to design mockups, wireframes, and style guides.
  • Cross-browser/device testing to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Identify and report bugs with clear descriptions, steps to reproduce, and screenshots/videos.
  • Usability testing for ease of use, accessibility, and overall user experience.
  • Automation using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or TestComplete.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and product managers to clarify requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
  • Regression testing to ensure new updates or features do not negatively impact existing UI functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with UI testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman for API-related UI testing).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other front-end technologies to understand UI behavior.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Bugzilla).
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
