Supply Chain Strategist

Purpose of the Job:

The primary objective of this role is to strategically manage and optimize the flow of finished goods to ensure the correct inventory is available at the right location and time, while balancing inventory levels with backorders and minimizing slow-moving stocks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and execute short and medium-term supply optimization from given customer demand and communicate effectively with the organization.
  • Ensure inventory stocking policies are followed for trade goods down to SKU level including safety stock levels and order quantities.
  • Monitoring of process order On Time, In Full (OTIF) metric will be required to assess quality of plan.
  • IC-STO management and tracking.
  • Coordinate the execution of the supply plan with responsible ISC Organization, effectively managing any exceptions with demand forecasts.
  • Work collaboratively with the ISC Organization to ensure key assumptions on anticipated production capabilities are reflected within the forecasts.
  • Actively communicate situation on blocked stock to the ISC organization.
  • Determine the most appropriate inventory replenishment models that balance service, cost, and inventory based on business objectives using advanced analytics.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts while minimizing excess inventory. This involves analyzing demand patterns, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintenance of master data relevant for the supply and inventory planning process.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data related inventory levels, lead times, to enable informed decision-making and minimize potential disruptions.
  • Analyze processes for inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as process automation, route optimization (if any).
