Production and Inventory Optimization Specialist

Job Purpose:
To ensure the timely availability of finished goods by effectively managing resources and capacities, while optimizing inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective communication with the Sales team regarding pending order status.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Production, Quality Control, Stores & Dispatch teams for timely planning and delivery of goods.
- Use data-driven decision-making and trend analysis to produce Make-To-Stock (MTS) SKUs.
- Take ownership of inventory optimization and drive performance on planning KPIs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD).
- Lead weekly S&OP meetings to address changes in demand or requirements.
- Apply sound knowledge of MRP, ERP systems, and planning processes to improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good understanding of inventory management and production planning
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
