We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies, particularly in Java, Groovy, and modern UI frameworks such as React and Angular. They will be responsible for requirement analysis & design, development & testing, process adherence, team collaboration & mentorship, and project reporting & ownership.

This role requires a highly motivated and organized individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver results-oriented solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Analysis & Design
    • Understand requirements from multiple documentation sources.
    • Assist Architects in design activities and provide accurate effort estimations.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align on project goals and technical solutions.
  • Development & Testing
    • Adhere to established program standards and coding best practices.
    • Perform hands-on coding, unit testing, and behavior-driven development (BDD).
    • Follow stringent source code control procedures.
    • Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Process Adherence
    • Comply with development processes and methodologies.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely updates and delivery.
  • Team Collaboration & Mentorship
    • Mentor and train new and existing team members.
    • Foster teamwork and support colleagues in achieving shared goals.
  • Project Reporting & Ownership
    • Maintain accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables.
    • Track progress, report status, and proactively raise risks/issues.
    • Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Architects, and Product Owners.
