Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a 6-month contract position with a leading technology organization.

We are seeking an experienced full stack engineer to join a high-impact migration project modernizing our legacy system.

  • Migrate legacy UI systems to our new microservice architecture.
  • Upgrade legacy Java applications to Spring Boot applications ensuring high-quality and secure code.
  • Test, document and otherwise quality assure your work to ensure that software meets business needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience working with Java and related frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.

Key skills include Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, legacy JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Backbone, Marionette), Jenkins, and AWS Cloud.

In this role, you will design and maintain highly available, resilient and secure production systems on AWS Cloud.

You will collaborate with other engineering teams, product managers, support and security teams.
