Job Title: Senior Database Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient database designs in collaboration with application development teams.
  • Perform data modeling and create entity relationship diagrams (ERDs).
  • Optimize complex SQL queries and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement indexing strategies and query optimization techniques.
  • Monitor database performance metrics and resolve issues proactively.
  • Manage backups, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for MySQL and MS SQL.
  • Ensure database security, access control, and data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes for system-to-system data integration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of proven experience as a Database Developer (MySQL & MS SQL).
  • Expert-level SQL programming skills (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
  • Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and normalization.
  • Experience with performance tuning and large-scale database optimization.
  • Proficiency in administration tasks (backup, recovery, security, replication).
