Job Description

The role of a Backend Development Expert involves architecting, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of building robust backend services that directly impact product performance and user experience.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS.

  • Design and implement reliable and maintainable backend architectures.

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for efficient frontend-backend communication.

  • Design and optimize schemas for relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.

  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in APIs, queries, and backend logic.

  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

  • Write unit and integration tests and debug production issues efficiently.

  • Work with the DevOps team to integrate backend services into CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ Years of Experience: Hands-on backend development experience in a product or platform team.
  • Strong Experience: Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Solid Knowledge: Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficient: Proficient in designing and building scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Experience: Experience working with Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools.
  • Exposure: Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, or Azure.
  • Understanding: Understanding of backend security principles.
  • Experience: Experience with performance monitoring, debugging, and observability tools.

Nice To Have

  • Experience: Experience with Go, Python, or Java for building microservices.
  • Exposure: Exposure to GraphQL, Apollo Server, or gRPC.
