Job Description

The Directional Drilling Specialist is responsible for delivering directional drilling services and promoting a collaborative culture.

The successful candidate will plan, execute, and manage all phases of a directional drilling job to meet client expectations and company standards. This includes providing technical support to clients and other crew members at the wellsite, as well as contributing to the training and development of subordinate personnel.

Key responsibilities include performing directional drilling and allied services, preparing field deliverables, leading DD jobs, and ensuring that all reporting requirements are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Additional responsibilities include participating in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs, developing customer contacts to promote products and services, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering and technology from a reputable university, with a minimum of 4-5 years post-qualification experience in directional drilling. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
