Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Software Engineer/Technical Specialist. As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge data architectures using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.

  • Develop scalable data solutions following best practices and industry-recognized standards.
  • Lead data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration efforts across diverse datasets.
  • Maintain data lake solutions in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2 and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction and analysis.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely data availability and compliance with organizational standards.
Key Requirements
  • Deep expertise in Azure Data Engineering, including experience with Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and Python for data processing and transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark for big data processing and data storage solutions like Azure Data Lake (ADLS) Gen2.
  • Strong background in CI/CD and DevOps principles, including Azure DevOps, Git, and automated deployments.
  • Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Resolving complex issues through systematic analysis and thorough justification.
  • Conducting proof-of-concepts to validate suggested designs and technologies.
