API Automation Testing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced automation specialist to develop and maintain automated tests for APIs using REST Assured or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated test scripts to ensure API functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test automation needs and goals.
  • Develop BDD frameworks like Cucumber to enable effective testing and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Analyze complex issues and utilize strong troubleshooting skills to resolve them efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in test automation, with a strong focus on API testing.
  • Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Selenium for UI automation.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and messaging systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
